Camping Getaways For Family Bonding
Research has shown that a camping trip is a great time for family bonding. Campers can leave all of the electronics we have come to depend on for entertainment at home and learn to spend time with our families once again.
Camping can be a lot of work, but is also a lot of fun. Cooking over a campfire or even with a camp stove is quite different than using the microwave at home. Perhaps you will discover the great taste of real food cooked over a real fire once again. When you finish, you will be reminded that there is no dishwasher at your campsite, so you will have to wash all dishes that are not disposable by hand.
The good news is that without electronics, you will have lots of time that you can use for nature walks or to go to see the ranger's nightly shows. Take time to view all the wildlife as well as flowers that bloom along the path. Be sure that you breathe in all the fresh air you can.
The evenings, after the dinner dishes have been cleaned is a perfect time for playing your favorite games or for long talks.

By paying a few dollars more per night you can have electrical hook ups. This will give you power to keep the laptop and hand held video games charged. Some sites even have cable hookups for your television viewing. Camping does not have to be boring any longer.
We do have one request. Do not let your neighbors in the campground know that you brought all the conveniences. They think you are roughing it just like they are.
