9 Popular Types of Patio Enclosures and their Usages
There are several types of patio enclosures, which differ in usage such as: open lattice patio cover, solid lattice patio cover, screen room, sun room, sunporch, alumawood patio cover, vinyl patio cover, metal patio cover, and glass atrium sunroom.
Patio, sometimes referred to as balcony or verandah, is an outdoor extension of your house, which is usually a garden. It is used as a recreation area or even a dining space where everybody gets to enjoy the beautiful scenery while, spending time together with their loved ones. Due to growing appreciation, manufacturers come up with several designs that suit various needs, which are as follows:
Open lattice patio cover
If you are into growing foliage, a better way to design your house to allow sunlight to come despite the presence of covering is to choose lattice patio cover, open type. This provides shade to plants by avoiding direct sunlight. Aluminum materials with enamel finish are frequently used since these do not easily peel off.
Solid lattice patio cover
More enclosed than open lattice, a solid patio cover is best when rain or snow is just average. Although enclosed, this still partially covers the place with less maintenance since it is usually made of aluminum.

These are usually expensive enclosures because these are customized by skilled contractors. Elegance is the highlight in making such enclosure; thus, you often see this in various high-end dwelling places.
