Is My Marriage In Trouble
The other day a friend came to my office and asked,"How can I get the passion back in my marriage?"
I looked at her and asked why she thought I was the best person to ask.She told me she trusted my opinion because I've been through what she is currently going through. She got me there.
Let me tell you some of the key things I mentioned to her. Whether you are looking for information about my strained marriage information, is my marriage worth saving or even information about what Makes a Marriage good this will help you one way or the other.
First of all you need to identify the reasons why you lost the spark in the first place.For example, did the arrival of children draw you part? It might have your careers or a new job Knowing the root cause of the problem is the first step to rekindling the fire in your relationship.
The next thing to think about are the things that kept you going or brought you closer together.For example, did you go out a lot or spent a lot of time together? Etc. If you want to know how you can get the passion back in your marriage, doing those things might be the solution.
Another thing is you need to look at how much you invest into your marriage. Most people do not realize that relationships need to be considered as an asset that needs to be well kept.If you’ve got money invested some where for future use, invest in your marriage too for future happiness.
Make time for each other, read books, watch tapes and have time to talk.Learn as much as you can about your relationship and your spouse.It wont just happen on its own, you need to put some effort to make it more exciting.
